Tasks

Agriculture is an important industry in Chile. The evergreen lake region offers ideal conditions for agriculture and livestock farming. The central Mediterranean region, on the other hand, has specialized in the cultivation of fruit and wine.

You have the opportunity to lend a hand in different farms, such as Breeding farms, livestock farming, self-sufficient farms, cattle or sheep farms, farms with arable farming or milk production. Farm work is particularly attractive for participants who like to work outdoors and like to lend a hand where help is needed.

The areas of responsibility in the agricultural sector are broad and depend heavily on the type of farm and the season. So please let us know your wishes and ideas when you register so that we can take them into account. After you have registered for a farm job in Chile, you will receive an exact job description from us for suitable farm work. In any case, you will know exactly what to expect before you leave.

Your tasks may include, for example:

  • Gardening and field work
  • Sowing and harvesting
  • Maintenance work
  • Stable work
  • Feed and care for animals
